About Me

I'm Nishant Harkut. I'm in my third year of a dual degree (B.Tech IT + MBA) at IIIT Gwalior. I started with UI/UX and graphic design — won some college design competitions and did a design internship. That led me into wanting to build the things I was designing, not just mock them up.

I switched focus to development and started shipping full-stack projects: a Web3 collaboration platform, an AI travel planner, a career-coaching SaaS. I've competed in hackathons — top 10 at ODOO India (out of 10,000+ teams) and first place at Hacknovate 6.0.

I'm currently interning at QuickIntell as a Software Engineer: OCR pipelines, backend services, and AI integrations for their healthcare RCM product. I use React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, and sometimes Three.js and GSAP when the project needs it.

I'm learning web application security in parallel — OWASP basics, auth, API security. Not my main focus, but I'd rather build things knowing how they can break.

Basketball, gym, AI music experiments. I still do graphic design and photography, and I play BGMI when I want to switch off.
